William J. Flynn

A leader in global logistics, William J. Flynn is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW). He also sits on the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Flynn is a seasoned executive who has held senior management positions with leading transportation companies. Before joining AAWW, Mr. Flynn served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GeoLogistics Corporation, a leading global freight forwarding and logistics company. There, he led the company's turnaround to profitability and orchestrated its successful acquisition by PWC Logistics in 2005.
From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Flynn was the Senior Vice President of the Merchandise Service Group of CSX Transportation, Inc., the operating unit serving the traditional rail shippers of CSX Transportation, Inc., one of the largest Class 1 railroads operating in the United States.
Previously, Mr. Flynn spent a number of years with Sea-Land Service, Inc., a subsidiary of CSX Corporation, where he held a variety of senior management positions in Asia, Latin America and the United States.
Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Polar. He joined the company in July 2009. Reporting to Mr. Flynn, he is a member of the Polar Board of Directors.
While previously with DHL, Mr. Murphy served as Senior Vice President, Aviation Asia Pacific for DHL Express’ Singapore-based business. His responsibilities with the company had included all aspects of aviation operations, strategy, and service performance in the Asia Pacific Region.
John Dietrich

John Dietrich oversees all aspects of AAWW's operations, including Flight Operations, Worldwide Ground and Technical Operations, Safety and Information Technology. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Dietrich had been the Company's General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) in September 2006.
Mr. Dietrich joined AAWW in 1999 as Associate General Counsel. In March 2003, he was named Vice President and General Counsel, and later that year assumed additional responsibility for the Company's Human Resources and Corporate Communications functions. In February 2004, he was promoted to Senior Vice President.
Prior to joining AAWW, Mr. Dietrich spent 13 years at United Airlines, seven of those as a litigation attorney. At both United and AAWW, he was responsible for providing legal counsel to all levels of management, and served as an advisor to operations management on issues related to labor, safety, reliability and efficiency.
Olivier Alexandroff

In his role as CFO, Olivier Alexandroff is responsible for all aspects of financial management, planning and reporting for Polar. He joined the company in July 2007 following DHL Express's acquisition of a 49% equity stake investment in Polar.
Mr. Alexandroff has more than 10 years of experience within the transportation sector. He was formerly vice president and controller for DHL Express U.S. and prior to this held a number of senior financial roles at DHL in The United Kingdom.
James Forbes
Divisional Senior Vice President, Operating Systems, Performance & Quality

Jim Forbes became Vice President of Worldwide Ground Operations and Facilities/Properties for Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. in March of 2001. He is responsible for all day-to-day station operations at the Company’s operating subsidiaries, Atlas Air, Inc. (Atlas) and Polar Air Cargo, Inc., including all phases of ground and cargo operations worldwide, as well as the contract and administration for all properties and facilities.
Previously, Mr. Forbes was the Senior Director of Ground Operations for Atlas, managing all phases of ground operations and customer service.
Mr. Forbes joined Atlas in 1997 with extensive airline experience in operations, sales and customer service. He was Director of US Airways’ hub in Philadelphia, where he managed an operation of 250 flights a day and a staff of just over 2,000 employees. During his 19-year career, he held several other positions including regional cargo sales manager and station manager at various locations in the US Airways system.
Adam Kokas
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officers and Assistant Secretary

Adam Kokas is responsible for directing the company's legal and regulatory affairs, as well as overseeing all corporate governance matters. He joined AAWW as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary in October 2006. He has since taken on responsibility for the company's human resources department.
Mr. Kokas joined AAWW from Ropes & Gray LLP, where he was a partner in its Corporate Department, focusing on general corporate, securities and business law. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Mr. Kokas was a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he joined as an associate in 2001. At both Kelley Drye and at Ropes & Gray, Mr. Kokas had represented AAWW in a variety of matters, including corporate finance transactions, corporate governance matters, strategic alliances, securities matters, and other general corporate issues.
Thomas Betenia
Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Americas

Thomas Betenia oversees all sales and marketing activities in the Americas. This includes building on Polar's existing business with its scheduled-service customers while leveraging the company's added express capabilities on behalf of current and prospective customers.
Mr. Betenia joined the company in January 2008 from Lufthansa Cargo, where he most recently served as Director of sales and handling for the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. During his 26-year career at Lufthansa, he held positions of increasing responsibility in areas as diverse as accounting, flight operations, network planning, project management, and sales and marketing.
His previous expertise throughout the Americas is helpful in Polar's mission to high-quality, high-reliability service required in the express business while serving freight-forwarder customers with convenient schedules on existing routes.
Jeffrey Carlson
Vice President, Flight Operations

Jeffrey Carlson is the newest member of the Polar's executive team. He was named Vice President of Flight Operations in September 2008.
A veteran captain, Mr. Carlson joined Polar from Spirit Airlines, where he served as vice president of flight operations. He is responsible for all of flight operations, including hiring, training, operations control, flight dispatch and crew scheduling at both Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide.
Mr. Carlson, a former chief pilot and vice president of flight operations at Northwest Airlines, has more than 15,000 hours of flying time on numerous aircraft, including the Boeing 747-400, a gauge which is operated by both Atlas and Polar. Among his achievements at Northwest, he partnered with Boeing to launch the Boeing 747-400 training program, which remains the industry standard today.
Kersti Krepp
Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Asia-Pacific

Based at Polar's regional office in Hong Kong, Ms. Krepp is responsible for all Polar activities in the region, including China, Japan and South Korea. She has been in the position since 2002, providing strong leadership in the region.
Prior to joining Polar, Ms. Krepp spent 11 years with Evergreen International Airlines, rising to the position of Senior Vice President for Asia. Krepp also founded and was Chief Operating Officer of V-Logic, an international logistics and chain management provider.
Lars Winkelbauer
Vice President, Marketing, Revenue Management & Network Planning
Polar Air Cargo Worldwide
In his role as Vice President, Marketing, Revenue Management & Network Planning, Lars Winkelbauer is responsible for all aspects of marketing, revenue management, capacity management and network planning. He joined Polar in July 2003.
Mr. Winkelbauer was formerly Senior Director, Global Network Management & Planning for Polar and prior to that Director of Capacity Management for the Americas Region.
Prior to joining Polar he worked within the Lufthansa Group, where he held a number of management roles in North America, Middle East and Africa.
